The ultimate fear of every employed person who has lied about their sick leave came true for a woman in Australia. The woman took a flight after calling in sick to work. However, as luck would have it, she found her boss on the same plane.
Leila Soares also shared a video of the incident on TikTok in which she was seen zooming the camera to focus on her boss. Leila also turned the camera towards herself in which she was seen in a face mask and goggles in an attempt to conceal her identity. She also wrote a text over her video, that read, "messages my boss to call in sick, only to find that he is on the same flight."
The woman further clarified that her boss wouldn't have noticed her because he boarded the flight from the front section and entered through the front door. Whereas, she sat towards the back and entered from the rear door. However, she did not provide any further updates on whether she was spotted by her boss or not.
As social media users came across her video, they reacted by sharing their fake sick leave stories and how they got caught.
