The White House was briefly evacuated after a packet of white powder was found on its premises on the evening of July 2, according to the Washington Post.
The report added that the white powder tested positive for cocaine in a preliminary test and is being further tested to determine its exact nature.
The United States Secret Services has said it is investigating why and how the packet reached the White House.
US President Joe Biden was reportedly not at the White House when the white powder triggered a security alert.
