A climate heckler interrupted US President Joe Biden mid-speech at an event in Arizona. Biden told the man to “shush up" and asked him meet to him backstage after the speech.
The heckler questioned the Democrat’s climate policies and asked why the White House had not declared a national emergency so far. At the time, Biden was criticising his rival and former President Donald Trump.
“I’ll tell you what, if you shush up I will meet you immediately after this,” Biden said at the Arizona event. His sharp remark was followed by a loud applause.
The identity of the heckler remains unclear. However, videos of the incident show law enforcement officials pulling the man out of the crowd and escorting him outside.
