Watch: official portraits from King Charles coronation released by Buckingham Palace

Buckingham Palace, the royal residence of the monarch of the United Kingdom, on Monday, released official portraits from King Charles III's coronation.

The portraits included King Charles III in full regalia in the Throne Room at the palace, and Queen Camilla posing for a photo in The Green Drawing Room.

King Charles III and Queen Camilla are also pictured with members of the working royal family, including Prince William, the Prince of Wales, and Kate, the Princess of Wales.

Charles also wrote a note of thanks to those involved in the celebration and the public which was released by the palace.

"To those who joined in the celebrations - whether at home, at street parties and lunches, or by volunteering in communities - we thank you, each and every one," the note read.
