A CCTV video has surfaced on social media showing a 12-year-old boy with a gun trying to rob a petrol pump in United States' Michigan.
The surveillance video starts with the boy standing in a queue at the gas station. As he approached the cashier he pulled out his gun and said, "put the money in the bag". “Are you serious?” the confused cashier asked in response. The boy was then seen firing at the ceiling at which point the cashier put all the money inside his bag.

The moment the cashier gave him the cash, the boy left the store casually as if nothing had happened but was soon caught by Hartford police.
According to local reports, the boy got the gun from a locked cabinet in his home. He pried open the cabinet to get the gun, which belonged to his guardian.
