A flash mob with striking writers, actors and others performed outside of Disney studios in Burbank, California.
They were supporting the Writer’s Guild of America, which has been on strike since May.
"We just want people to come out and support whether that’s picketing or showing up for your writer friends and people in the industry to listen to why it’s important to have fair wages, fair compensation, fair rights,” said actor Angela Relucio.
Caroline Renard, of the Writer’s Guild of America, says the issues haven't changed.
"So a few of the demands we want an increase in residuals for streaming services.. protection against AI.. we want to protect comedy-variety writers right now their pay is equivalent to nothing,” she said.
