San Francisco authorities on Friday released video footage recorded during last year's attack on Paul Pelosi, husband of former U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
The police body-cam footage of October 28, 2022, shows suspect David DePape and Paul
Pelosi standing inside the house clutching a large hammer.
DePape tells police officers, "Everything's good," at which point the officers instruct him to drop the hammer.
DePape then appears to tear the hammer fully away from Pelosi, before striking him with a powerful overhand blow.
Pelosi, lying still, can be seen partially under the body of DePape, who is being restrained by the officers.
