An Alaska Airlines flight made an emergency landing in Oregon on January 5 after a window and chunk of its fuselage blew out in mid-air.

A photo posted by a X user showed a door and window missing from one of the exit rows of the aircraft.

The aircraft AS1282 from Portland to Ontario landed safely back at Portland International Airport with all 171 guests and 6 crew members safe, Alaska Airlines said on X.

The airlines said it has launched an investigation into the incident.
