The Israeli military has said that it fighter jets struck the residence of Ismail Haniyeh, the Head of Hamas’ Political Bureau.
In a social media post, the Israel Defense Forces said that Haniyeh's residence was used as terrorist infrastructure and a meeting point for Hamas’ senior leaders to direct terrorist attacks against Israel.
Meanwhile, the UN Security Council adopted a resolution calling for urgent and extended humanitarian pauses and corridors throughout the Gaza Strip.
