Govts form short-term plans, 5-year plans, call top economists, take loans among several things to fix the failing economy of their countries but a Pakistan minister has a very simple solution - drink less tea.

Pakistan's Federal  Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal has urged people to cut down the consumption of tea by 1-2 cups in order to save the nation's economy.

Why does he think a cup of the beverage can go a long way in fixing the economy?

According to Iqbal, Pakistan is one of the biggest importers of tea and has to taken loans to buy it.
