Video: New York man sets eatery on fire over botched chicken biryani

New York Police have arrested a man for intentionally setting a restaurant on fire.

In the video from city's Queens area, a man can be seen setting a Bangladesh restaurant ablaze allegedly over a botched chicken biryani order. 

The incident captured on CCTV shows the accused identified as Choephel Norbu pouring fuel outside the restaurant and setting it on fire which eventually led to a massive fire.

49 year old Norbu reportedly claimed that he was unhappy with his chicken biryani, which prompted him to burn the eatery.

As per a report by The New York Post, Norbu claimed he was drunk when he bought the chicken biryani. On not receving the expected order, he bought a gas can to burn the restaurant the next day.

Norbu was arrested on charges of arson and criminal mischief.
