Alarm gripped a flight in the US after a passenger allegedly tried to open the cockpit door. The "unruly passenger" was then hit on the head with a coffee pot by a flight attendant, a CNN report quoted a witness as saying.
Amid the drama, the flight was diverted to Kansas City International Airport in Missouri. The flight was headed from Los Angeles to Washington, DC on February 13 afternoon, local time, when the incident occurred.

A person who claimed to have been on the flight posted videos purportedly of the episode. As per the passenger named Mouaz Moustafa, the plane descended rapidly in order to make the emergency landing, and the rapid descent made those onboard feel as if the plane was in free fall.
Moustafa said that police and FBI came onboard the flight once it landed in Missouri. The officers reportedly took the man into custody, and also questioned passengers about what had occurred.
