UK shuns its challenge to his ICC arrest warrant: what does it mean for Netanyahu?

The United Kingdom, under the new Labour government, has dropped former Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's plan to challenge the arrest warrants sought against Isreali Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defence Minister Yoav Gallant at the International Criminal Court for alleged war crimes in Gaza.

Though newly elected PM Keir Starmer's stance tilts the odds against Netanyahu, it does not necessarily mean the warrant will be issued. However, it signals a larger shift in Britain's policy towards Israel.
