Top Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist Qaiser Farooq shot dead in Pakistan

One of the most wanted Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists, Mufti Qaiser Farooq, was reportedly shot dead in Pakistan's Karachi.

Farooq is believed to be a close aide of 26/11 Mumbai terrorist attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed.

According to reports, a group of unknown men opened fire at Farooq near a religious institution in the Samanabad area on September 30.

The 30-year-old, who suffered bullet wounds in the back, died during treatment at a hospital.

A minor boy was also injured in the attack.
