Singapore: Indian-origin man arrested after he's seen carrying axe on street

After a video of an Indian-origin man in Singapore wielding an axe on a street went viral, he was charged in court on 12 April 2023.

25-year-old Manohar Thirunavukkarasu was reportedly seen in the video carrying an axe at Singapore's Central Business District on 11 April.

A fight also occurred in the area around the same time, as per reports.

Subsequently, he was arrested for possession of an offensive weapon, using force to deter a public servant, and using abusive language against a public servant.
