Amid the ongoing diplomatic row between India and Canada over Khalistani terrorist Nijjar's killing, security has been beefed up outside Indian missions in Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver, as per India Today.

The development comes after protest calls by the banned pro-Khalistan outfit Sikhs For Justice (SFJ).

Presently, the missions are surrounded by local police and federal police personnel to monitor the situation.

Heavy barricading has also been done.

Pertinently, the Canadian PM stoked up an international controversy by accusing India of getting Nijjar--a Canadian national killed in June this year.
