Saudi Arabia Covid travel ban: India and 15 other nations declared out of bounds for Saudi citizens

As the Covid numbers in several countries surged, Saudi Arabia has banned travel to 16 countries for its citizens. 

Saudi citizens have been banned to travel to India and 15 other countries, including Lebanon, Syria, Somalia Ethiopia, Indonesia, and Venezuela.

The countries included in the list have seen an uptick in cases in the last few weeks.

The country has also assured its citizens of close monitoring of Monkeypox cases. Officials say, Saudi has yet to record its first case. 

WHO said about 80 cases of Monkeypox have been confirmed in 11 countries so far.
