Nearly a month after his conviction, former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan secured judicial relief in the high-profile Toshakhana case.

The Islamabad High Court on August 29 suspended Khan's 3-year jail sentence after the ex-PM appealed against his conviction.

Khan, who is currently behind bars, was convicted by a trial court on August 5, and this meant that he could not contest general elections for the next 5 years.
