Amid reports of US Speaker Nancy Pelosi's visit to Taiwan, now British lawmakers are planning to visit the contested territory by the end of 2022.
According to UK daily 'The Guardian', British Foreign Affairs Committee was earlier scheduled to visit Taiwan early in 2022 but the visit had to be postponed owing to the Covid-19 pandemic.
In a move suggestive of UK's support to Taiwan, which China claims to be its own, the relations between the two countries may further hit the rock bottom.
