Pakistan's National Seismic Monitoring Centre has rejected claims by a Dutch scientist that a strong earthquake could hit the country's Balochistan region between October 1 and 3, Samaa TV reported.

The agency said that it is not possible to accurately predict the time of an earthquake, according to the report. It added that many predictions of the Solar System Geometry Survey have been wrong in the past.
