The Election Commission of Pakistan has issued orders to hold re-elections at various polling stations nationwide following complaints of snatching and damaging of voting materials.

The repolling has been scheduled for February 15. Results from these polling stations will be declared later.

The poll authority has also asked regional officials to submit a probe report on complaints of vandalism at a polling station in Karachi.

Meanwhile, President Arif Alvi expressed his concern over the delay in declaring election results.

He said that if the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) had been in use during the general elections, the nation would not be facing the current crisis.
