Pakistani authorities have reportedly banned the celebration of Holi at all educational institutes in the country.
The order was issued by Pakistan's Higher Education Commission, news agency ANI said quoting reports.
The Commission said that the celebration of Holi is an "erosion" of Pakistan's "Islamic identity".
The panel also claimed that the festivities "portray a complete disconnect" from Pakistan's "sociocultural values".
