The US military on May 31, 2023, released a video as proof of aggression by a Chinese fighter jet over the South China Sea.
America said that the Chinese J-16 fighter jet "flew directly in front of the nose" of its reconnaissance aircraft RC-135.
The US Indo-Pacific Command called it an "unnecessarily aggressive manoeuvre".
The incident took place on May 26 when the US plane was conducting routine operations in international airspace.
