The Titanic tourist submarine, which went missing on June 18, has less than 40 hours of oxygen supply left, as per the latest updates by officials.
Amid a hectic search for the submersible in the North Atlantic Ocean, a US Coast Guard officer said that the vessel had around 40 hours of breathable air left at around 1 pm Eastern Time on June 20, i.e. around 10:30 pm India time.
This means that the submersible may run out of oxygen by the afternoon or evening of June 22, India time.
