A thrift store in Pakistan’s commercial capital Karachi was looted withing 30 minutes of its grand opening. The opening turned into chaos with vandalism erupting despite promises of cheap prices. The event, promoted as Pak's first mega thrift store, attracted thousands of people. The Thrift Store named ‘Dream Bazar’ was built by a Pakistani-origin man living abroad. Some witnesses said there was no police, while others noted that cops were hitting bystanders.
