Vice President Kamala Harris kicked off the Democratic National Convention in Chicago with a message for unity. "This November, we will come together and declare with one voice as one people, we are moving forward," she said to a packed stadium of delegates, that included her running mate Minnesota Governor Tim Walz. Mirroring other Democrats, Harris thanked President Joe Biden for his 'historic legacy,' as she prepared to officially take over the Democratic ticket.
