US President Joe Biden's interaction with the media in Vietnam was abruptly cut off by his press staff on Sunday.
Videos of the incident have gone viral. While many social media users said it was disrespectful to a sitting president, others wondered who really was in charge.
The videos show Biden mid-answer when the voice of his press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre can be heard announcing the end of the press conference.
'Thank you, everybody. This ends the press conference. Thanks, everyone,' she said.
As Biden walked off the stage, reporters asked him some more questions. The US President obliged but was played off the stage as the music playing in the background got louder.
