An Indian national won a Squid Games-themed event organised by his employers in Singapore.
42-year-old Selvam Arumugam won 18,888 Singapore Dollars, which is equal to one-and-a-half years of his salary.
The event was reportedly organised by Pollisum Engineering on May 27, 2023.
Selvam, who had not heard of the Squid Games show before, has studied up to Secondary 1 and supports 15 family members in India, and will use the money to build a home.
