21-year-old student from Ghaziabad shot dead outside subway station in Toronto

An Indian student was shot dead in Canada's Toronto, multiple news reports said on Friday. 

The reports said that Kartik Vasudev, who was studying management in Canada, was killed during a robbery attempt.

Vasudev, who hails from Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh had left for Canada in January and was also working at a restaurant. 

Vasudev's father told The Hindustan Times that his son was on his way to work when some one fired at him as he was coming out of a subway station on Thursday early evening.
