Yet another Indian-American has been appointed to a senior post in the United States administration.
The US Senate on 15 March 2023 confirmed the appointment of Ravi Chaudhary as the Assistant Secretary of Defense for the Air Force. It is one of the top civilian leadership positions in the Pentagon.
Chaudhary served in the US Air Force between 1993 and 2015. As a C-17 pilot, he conducted several combat missions in Afghanistan and Iraq, among other duties and roles.
