A YouTuber breaks his neck and back after falling 85 feet from a motorised paraglider in Texas.
Anthony Vella was flying at a speed of about 50 mph when he fell out of the sky.
Though Vella did not explain when the incident occurred, the vlog of the incident posted on his channel is a week old.
The video of the incident shows Vella paragliding when the cords suddenly break, and he loses his balance. The clip shows him falling to the ground and crying in intense pain.
Vella reportedly called 911 and was then rushed to the hospital. He suffered a fractured neck, fractured back, fractured pelvis and a broken arm.
All the injuries will require surgery, doctors said.
Vella later explained that the crash was caused because he “missed a small pension knot” during pre-takeoff checks.
