Fox News has reportedly imposed a soft ban on former US president Donald Trump.
The news startup Semafor reported that the cooling of relations between the Republican leader and his once-beloved cable news channel has gone so far that a ‘soft ban’ or ‘silent ban’ is now holding Trump at arm’s length.
The Guardian reported that Trump has not made a weekday showing on Fox News since he chatted with the network’s star hosts and his close friend, Sean Hannity, in September 2022.
Pertinently, former governor of South Carolina Nikki Haley has made seven appearances on Fox since she launched her presidential bid in February 2023.
