German Chancellor Olaf Scholz displayed his lighter side with a funny take on his injury and posted a picture of himself wearing an eye patch.
Bruises from his fall while jogging last week were visible around the eye patch.
The chancellor also called for memes as he posted the picture.
'I look forward to the memes. Thanks for the well wishes, looks worse than it is!' he wrote.
Scholz’s spokesperson Steffen Hebestreit said the German leader was “in quite a good mood this morning, but still looks a bit battered,” news agency Associated Press reported.
