Flyer puts out blaze with bare hands after 'e-cigarette' explodes on flight

Passengers on an Amsterdam-bound flight were left terrified after an 'e-cigarette’ exploded in the overhead compartment of the plane. 

The incident took place on May 18 on an easyJet Airbus A320, when a flyer spotted smoke billowing from the compartment. 

Within a moment the smoke turned into blazed. The video, seemingly shot by a fellow passenger shows a flyer trying to put out the fire with his bare hands. 

Following the incident, the flight was forced to turn back, The Sun reported.
