In a bizarre move, a Robert Downey Junior fan is selling online what he is claims is a gum chewed by the actor, as per media reports.
The New York Post reported that Marvel star Downey who recently attended Jon Favreau's Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony stuck his gum directly on the star in casual banter.
The chewed gum which has been listed on E-bay has been described by the seller as Downey's. In his description, the seller claimed that "during the event, the actor himself put his gum on Jon Favreau's star and presumably left it there, which he was able to snag."
Reports suggest that there is no confirmation if the gum actually belongs to Downey, the seller, however, in his listing claimed that it could be tested for Downey's DNA.
The online auction which ends on April 1, 2023 has a starting bid of over $40,000 (Rs 32,56,227). The "lucky bidder" will reportedly get the used gum in a plastic container.
