The Israeli military has said that there was no aerial incursion from Lebanon hours after it sounded a nationwide alert.

On October 11, Israel said that a “hostile aircraft” crossed its northern frontier from Lebanon and asked residents to take shelter.

However, the Israel Defense Forces later clarified that it was a mistake and that there was no such incursion.

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the opposition leaders have agreed to form an emergency unity government amid the war against Hamas.
