Earthquake kills 9, injures over 100 in Pakistan's Swat; also shook India

A strong earthquake killed at least 9 people and injured more than a hundred in Swat valley region in Pakistan on 21 March 2023, as per reports.

The epicentre of the 6.5-magnitude quake was located around 40 km from Jurm in Afghanistan, near the Pakistan border.

It struck at around 10:17 pm, with strong tremors being felt as far as Delhi and other cities in north India.
