Amid tension between some Nordic countries and Islamic nations over anti-Quran protests, Denmark is planning to ban the desecration of the Quran and other religious books outside foreign embassies.
Denmark's foreign minister said that the government is looking at putting an end to the mockery of other countries in very special situations.
He added that there must be room for religious criticism, and there is no plan to reintroduce a blasphemy law.
