Chinese blogger killed in Nepal during live broadcast by rival influencer: reports

A Chinese food blogger was killed on the streets of Nepal during his livestream earlier this month.

Known by the name “Fatty Goes to Africa”, the food blogger was allegedly killed by a rival influencer.

29-year-pld Gan Soujiong, according to Asia Wire, was attacked while live streaming at Indra Chowk in Nepal. He was reportedly interrupted during the livestream which followed high-pitched screams and violent shaking of the camera.

A purported clip of the incident shows blood on Gan’s face apparently after he was stabbed with a knife by rival Feng Zhengyung, who could be heard swearing at him in Chinese.

Gan was later taken to hospital where he succumbed to injuries. He was reportedly stabbed on abdomen and chest.

Accused Feng was reportedly arrested for the alleged murder.
