A 16-year-old British Pakistani girl has shown academic brilliance with her record of securing the highest possible grade in 34 subjects in UK examinations.

Mahnoor Cheema set the record in Britain’s General Certificate of Secondary Education level. Her long list of subjects included Maths, Astronomy, French and Latin.

The student’s achievement was celebrated by former Pakistan PMs Shebaz Sharif and Nawaz Sharif.

“It is always very uplifting to meet bright young minds like Mahnoor Cheema,” Shehbaz Sharif wrote in a social media post. He added that Cheema had also set a great example for Pakistani students.
