Al Jazeera engineer's 19 family members killed in Gaza refugee camp strike

A broadcast engineer with Al Jazeera lost 19 of his family members in the Israeli air strikes on a refugee camp in Gaza. 

Al Jazeera said that Mohamed Abu Al-Qumsan's father, two sisters, eight nephews and nieces, his brother, his brother’s wife, and their four children, his sister-in-law, and one uncle were killed in the bombing of the Jabalia refugee camp

Israel has said that 50 Hamas fighters were killed in the air strike on what it called the armed group's stronghold. The Israeli army said that a top Hamas commander involved in the October 7 attack was among those killed in the bombing. 

Hamas-run Palestinian Health Ministry has said that 50 people were killed in the attack.
