A day after a top US military officer sparked speculation by refusing to rule out the possibility of aliens behind the recent flying object controversies, the White House issued a clarification.
The Joe Biden government on 13 February 2023 said that there is "no indication of alien or extraterrestrial activity" with the recent "takedowns". White House press secretary said that she wanted the American people to know this since there were many questions on the topic.
Between 10 and 12 February, the US shot down three unidentified aerial objects in its airspace. This came after President Biden ordered the shooting down of an alleged Chinese spy balloon.
