Another strong earthquake has shaken parts of western Afghanistan days after a temblor killed more than 2,000 people.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the 6.3-magnitude earthquake that struck the region on the morning of October 11 was about 28 kilometres outside the capital of Herat province.
The earlier quake that struck Herat was also 6.3 magnitude and was followed by several strong aftershocks.
