Women's World Cup 2022: India face Pakistan in opening match, here's when

ICC on Wednesday announced the schedule for the 2022 Women's World Cup and India will kick off their campaign with a match against arch-rivals Pakistan on March 6.

India will later take on New Zealand, West Indies, England, Australia and South Africa before the knockouts begin on March 30. The World Cup is being hosted by New Zealand and the hosts will face the West Indies in the first match on March 4. Defending champions England will then take on Australia the following day.

On the basis of the ODI Team Rankings, Bangladesh, Pakistan and West Indies were the final 3 teams to book their berth for the World Cup after the Qualifiers were called off due to a Covid-19 scare in Zimbabwe.
