Tokyo Olympics 2020: Apurvi & Valarivan fail to qualify for finals in Women's 10m air rifle event

The first batch of Indian shooters started off the Olympic games on a disappointing note, as Elavenil Valarivan and Apurvi Chandela failed to make it to the final of the Women's 10m Air Rifle event.

World No. 1 Valativan finished 16th in the Qualification with a total score of 626.5. The eight-placed shooter had 628.5 to qualify for the final.

On the other hand, Apurvi Chandela finished 36th in the 50-woman field with a total of 621.9.
