The World Health Organisation has granted emergency use authorisation to India's Covid-19 vaccine, Covaxin.

The vaccine was granted approval after the UN health agency's Technical Advisory Group recommended use of Covaxin in two doses, with a interval of four weeks, in all age groups 18 and above.
