Delhi Police issued an advisory on traffic arrangements and restrictions put in place for the Republic Day celebrations in the national capital.
No traffic movement is being allowed on Kartavya Path from Vijay Chowk to India Gate from 6 pm on January 24.
C-Hexagon, India Gate will be closed for traffic from 9.15 am on January 25 till the parade crosses Tilak Marg on January 26.
Traffic will not be allowed on Tilak Marg, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg and Netaji Subhas Marg from 10.30 am on January 25 till the Republic Day celebration concludes.
Route from Madarsa, Lodhi Road T-point via Aurobindo Marg, AIIMS Chowk, Ring Road-Dhaula Kuan, Vande Matram Marg and Shankar Road to reach Mandir Marg is open.
To reach New Delhi railway station from South Delhi, route via Dhaula Kuan, Vande Matram Marg, Panchkuian Road, CP Outer Circle & Chelmsford Road is open.
Commuters who are travelling from East Delhi can take Boulevard Road via ISBT bridge, Rani Jhansi flyover, Jhandewalan roundabout, Sheela Cinema Road & Paharganj Bridge.
To reach Old Delhi railway station from South Delhi, Ring Road, Ashram Chowk, Sarai Kale Khan, Rajghat, Chowk Yamuna Bazar, SP Mukherjee Marg and Kauria bridge is open.
