The Indian cricket team hit the ground running on Wednesday as it had its first group training session in Southampton ahead of the World Test Championship final vs New Zealand.
Few players including Ravindra Jadeja had already started individual training but many squad members were in isolation. BCCI tweeted to say that the intensity was high and the preparations are in full swing for the all-important final starting June 18.
The Indian contingent had reached London on June 3 and were in quarantine since then at the Ageas Bowl hotel, which is attached to the cricket stadium. Team India had flown out after a hard 14-day isolation in Mumbai.
