With the Covid cloud over the team lifted, Sri Lanka players were let out of their isolation to train in Colombo on Tuesday. However, they were still without the services of their regular coaching staff, who are still in isolation.
With batting coach Grant Flower and a team analyst testing positive for Covid-19 last week, Sri Lanka's plans for preparation ahead of the India series faced a road-block.
Covid cases have already forced the series to be postponed by five days, to 18th of July.
