According to the lawyers of one of the nurses in question, Deigo Maradona was killed due to medical negligence by the doctors. Maradona died of a heart attack last November at the age of 60, weeks after undergoing brain surgery for a blood clot. The police are currently investigating the role of 7 people including doctors and nurses after a board of experts looking into Maradona's death found he had received inadequate care in the hospital. The nurse in question is 36-year-old Dahiana Gisela Madrid who was one of the primary caregivers to the football legend when he was in hospital after the brain surgery. Madrid's lawyer also claimed that the doctors knew that Maradona had many warning signs while in hospital but the doctors failed to save his life.
